About Calliope Law Corporation

Calliope Law Corporation is a general practice firm based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, handling real estate, employment, family, business and corporate law, estate planning and administration, and professional regulation defence. The firm grew out of a family law practice Hannah Rawling started in Revelstoke in 2021. Jane Letton relocated to town in 2022 and joined the practice, adding labour and employment law along with business and real estate work. Rawling holds a BA in psychology and a JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, was called to the bar in 2020, practiced civil litigation in Vancouver before moving to Revelstoke, and became a family mediator in April 2024. Letton holds a BA (Hons) in English and philosophy, an MA in philosophy, and an LLB, and was a partner at a labour law firm in Toronto before relocating west.

The firm describes its approach as legal advice paired with practical solutions, and says it tries to keep clients involved in resolving their own matters rather than just managing files. It looks for cost sensitive, creative solutions and a collaborative, inclusive environment for clients working through family, business, or property issues.
