Blue Sky Legal Group is a small, mostly virtual law practice that serves clients across British Columbia, with a meeting location in Langford, part of Greater Victoria, and a second in Calgary, Alberta. The firm handles wills and estates, family law, real estate, business, and litigation matters, and offers legal services on a schedule that works for the client, meeting at a convenient time rather than requiring clients to take time away from work. The team also includes a paralegal who focuses on family law, a legal researcher with a law degree from the University of Victoria, and an administrator, alongside its lawyer.

Blue Sky Legal Group takes its name from lawyer Michael Davis's longtime interest in flying. Davis has said flying came before driving, and the firm's site frames its work as piloting a client's legal issue through to clear skies. Davis is a graduate of the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, articled with a Victoria litigation firm, and later practiced with a litigation firm focused on family and civil law, appearing in both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Before turning to law, Davis served in the Canadian Armed Forces and started and managed several businesses.
