About Bonny

Bonny Blake founded B. Blake Law in 2007. She earned a Chinese LL.B. in 1993 and practised law in China from 1995 to 1999 before moving to Canada in 2001. Between 2001 and 2006 she completed a Canadian LL.M., an LL.B. (now equivalent to a J.D.), and a Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Policy Studies at the University of British Columbia. She was called to the bar of British Columbia on August 8, 2007. Her practice covers corporate litigation, commercial litigation, family and divorce litigation, and enforcing judgments in British Columbia. She is fluent in Mandarin and English. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and was a member of the New Westminster Bar Association from 2009 to 2019, serving as its secretary/treasurer in 2015.
