About Alexandre

Alexandre Langlois spent several years working in healthcare, including with health professionals and in biomedical research labs, before moving into law. Early in his career as an avocat, he founded the firm Alter Lexis avocat inc. and has since become a partner alongside Me Myralie Roussin at Roussin Langlois avocats. His practice centers on criminal and penal law, covering charges such as fraud, impaired and dangerous driving, sexual offences, drug possession and trafficking, theft, and weapons offences. He also handles appeals of criminal convictions and sentences, including several successful appeals before the Court of Appeal of Québec, along with penal matters under Quebec's highway safety code, animal welfare law, and municipal bylaws. Langlois regularly publishes legal explainer content on social media and has appeared on news broadcasts and radio to discuss legal issues. He holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology (2016) and a bachelor's degree in law (2019).
